Amendment I

I found this site about 6 months ago because I got caught up in IPDL hell. I find this site very useful now for many more purposes than that and I also feel that i can offer good advice to those who are reaching out for help
what i don't appreciate are the PM from people who dog and demean me for my ideas and thoughts, not everyone approaches ideas and finances the way I do but that is what makes me an individual, UNIQUE.
So for all of you who support me and my ideas, thank you from the bottom of my heart, you have my gratitude
but for those of you who continue to harass me... behind the masks of screenames and anaoymous email address's... what goes around comes around and I place on you a lifetime of finacial curses
I do not intimidate easily and I will not be going away and for that one special persons who says they know who I am and where I live... BRING IT ON!

Ashley, I'm sorry to hear people are harrassing you, but truthfully, they're not worth even thinking about. Just know that you have done a lot of good on this site. I, for one, have been helped by different informative posts by you, and I'm glad to hear you won't be backing down. Good for you! We need you here.

Steelers someone sent me an email and said that he/she? had seen me post about people getting part time jobs to cover debt, they said 'who the fu** did I think I was, holy than though attitude and if I knew so much then why was I in debt and so on..it became really abusive it came from someone called spunky3010(at)gmail.com gmail is a free email service and when I sent a reply back it was undeliverable.
I also have recieved several PM on the boards here from people teliing me to go away and that my "advice: was not needed here or wanted...
Real nice people but the clincher came when someone threatened to sue me for my so called attacks on the PDL industry in my posts here and my blog entry's. That they knew who I was through my ISP ID and that they would personally come out and see me about my issue with the PDL industry.
As far as I can see my so called attacks on the PDL industry has been pretty tame, it is so in the infancy stages as I am trying to gather evidence and have only taken a few steps.
Like I said to those who think they can intimidate me, bring it on!

Your comments about pdls are tame compared to others, I know I have made some harsh comments about them, but I haven't been threatened, and I think some of my comments are harsh, more like reality based.

Thats what I don't get, I have READ some of the posts here in regards to the PDL industry and mine is so tame... if Polly is out there and reading, did you ever have this happen to you?
I know that when i first started replying I copied and pasted a lot but Mike helped me out with that and I try and not do that but those are the only posts where i can see that i wasn't approaching things fron the right angle..

But those were not threatening or harsh. Could be somebody just being stupid, and probably not the smartest thing to do, threaten to come to somebody's house. That isn't funny.

They are afraid that people will stand up for what is right... I would love to get involed in stopping the internet company's and the illegal storefronts in CA.. if we were told NO you cant have another loan MOST of us COULD Probably make it to the next payday.. I know it is tough but the money was too easy to get.. They do not check our credit only accounts to be sure that they can withdraw when ever they choose too.. I had one not even sure who it was and they put money in my account no contract sighed nothing . I was lucky they only took the principle and then 90.00 interests and never bothered me again.. After the horror stories I read about I am lucky. My one internet loan is My Cash Now and they have been more then reasonable with me although I now know that they charged me rollover fees that are illegal in CA. But until I finish paying them I will keep my mouth shut so they don’t take everything out at once..
But please as I have been told many times in this form don’t let them bully you and shut you up.. Where would you be if you let them.. IN DEBT..

I may have put that wrong. we were taken advantage of when we needed help.. not that we couldnt make it to a payday we just needed a little help and they exploited us

I agree with you in a way jn, that they do make it SO easy for people to get caught up, thats why I call them predators but we are all adults and have the ability to say No, but it is so hard to say No when the car payment is coming due or a prescription needs to be filled, Unfortunalty many learn to say NO too late after their accounts have been sucked dry. I guess I hope that with people posting their experiences here that somoene will learn from example and say NO before it's too late
but this harrasment sh** has got to stop but I guess i should expect that from having a public blog and posting on a public sounding board

Remember one thing, people who feel jealous involve into such bad acts and they do it hiding from others. Just know you are doing the right thing. No one can deter your good intentions. Keep up the good work!!

I think the key to remember is they are cowards. They attack you behind fake names and give you no chance for recourse. They are punks with no guts. Just ignore them. Do what you do and let your information be out there for all.
Trust me - the PDL industry doesn't care about you. You are plankton in an ocean. They won't come after you. They are too busy trying to keep ahead of the laws of the land. Suing one woman in KY who said some bad things about the PDL industry? Not going to happen.

Wow, sorry to hear it, but I tell you this - if the admin finally REQUIRES people to register, stuff like this won't happen, because the email has to be verifiable.
Not to go on my own rant, but it's a very simple solution.
Hang in there Ashley, don't sweat them, jedijeff is right. Anyone who can't show you who they are, or provide identifiable info is a coward, Thumbs up to you!!

Guys I am sorry to say that I am going to have to back off this site for awhile. I received another threatening email who threatened my family directly. I have notified my local police department This is all I can say for now. My blog will still continue to run but I won't be answering/helping any consumers on this board. I am not sure why or where this is coming from but the INTERNET is so not worth this kind of crap. So for now I will lurk, take care ya'll and keep up the fight!

I am a little worried how the lenders, collectors come to know about people unless they put their personal information online. Ashley, I don't think you have ever put anything online that can cause risk to you. Maybe, you are dealing with those people and they are giving you threats because you are opposing them. You have done the right thing by reporting to the local police. I am just assuming your participation in this board is not the reason of those threats. Because those people cannot get anything from this place. I am just trying to ease your mind if you are worried being here. I can understand how you are feeling, but if you stay isolated, you'll remain tensed. Come here and talk to us if we can make you feel better.
