Technorati

Can Someone please guide me through how to use technorati? I have already signed up with them and placed my link on my blog site but that is about all I understoon how to use it. I tired google adsense also but i don't want payday loan ads on my blog and plus I couldn't figure it out either. Any help would be appreciated.

Technorati is a very good site. They have some good tools for blogs. You can try it out from here: - http://technorati.com/tools/ .

First of all login into your account and click on “Claim your blog” option. Then add your blog there, after that follow the instructions. If you want to put technorati tags into your post then go here: - http://technorati.com/tools/#tagging and click on “Technorati Tag Generator” and you reach another site where you can create a tag code for your own blog. Put that code into your blog in the post area. Stanley also uses this technorati tags in his blog.

Ashley, all I can say is the blogging environment that YDF offers is tooooo good. Using the features like technorati tags, social bookmarks, video upload are as easy as ABC now. I had a blog with blogger but gradually I got addicted with my YDF blog. Also read the posts mentioned by Tin Tin, those are good.

I don’t know how long it will be there, unless new posts push it down, but my recent post is appearing in Technorati now.

I went again and used your link to help me guide my way through but I don't understand the purposes of tags and don't even see how to add a tag to my site or the technorati site

I will help you out, blogspot.com is a pain while doing integration. I am on my way and once I get in front of my computer I will add the tags for your blog post.

Tags are labels. Take the case of browser bookmarking, where you save one site under one folder while in social bookmarking like del.icio.us one site is arranged under many folders under many tags (labels).
