Talk to the nice folks at your local adult education center about obtaining a GED. It may cost a bit, and you'll have to work to get it. But you'll have something you can be proud of, and that you can use to better yourself down the road.

Belford is a scam...end of subject. Some for profit trade schools will accept anything and some do not even require a GED or HSD to enter. However you cannot get into a real academic school or half decent job with a belford diploma.

I looked into that school and it looked shady to me.

My daughter was homeschooled after 7th grade. The public school were I live suck and the violence was getting bad.

When she was "technically" in 11 grade I looked into the internet diploma thing. Belford was one of them.

I decided against it and went the GED route. I bought he book "McGraw-Hills GED , The most complete and reliable study program for the GED test". I got it used on Amazon for a really great price. The book has practices tests. You take the test and then score. In problem areas it tells you exactly what to study in the book. She studied that book as well as some online GED information and tests.

She passed her GED test with flying colors and was done with high school a year ahead of her peers at age 17.

They also offer a lot of free GED classes at community centers and libraries. My daughter could not do these because she was not 18 but I wanted to point it out. They also have a GED show on public televsion that discusses each part of the test.

Colleges accept the GED and the GED scores. It might be better to just study and get the GED.

it's fake, my friend got one and tried to go to beauty school who quickly turned her down and said it's nothing but a piece of paper.
she spent less money at the community college and got her GED and is now enrolled in the classes she wanted to get into.

I am a recruiter for the US ARMED FORCES and had a young man come in with this diploma from Belford. Read their accredations... they are nothing worth value. The diploma is not recognized by the United States and thus not usable to satisfy the education recquirment for the military either I later discovered. On the phone they claim it will work for the military. It does not. The applicant also had approx 250 taken with out recieving his credentials in the mail and had to reorder a 2nd time for additional money all for nothing. These folks are a rip off and are very clever scammers. Try cornerstone christian correspondence course. It is accredited, will work for the military and is $80 with a 3 week turnaround... or contact a military recruiter. Prefferably the National Guard

what! you would have to contact them or perhaps go through the BBB (better yet, report them for fraud!). I do not know if they will refund you
