No the school is not accredited. You might be able to get into some trade schools with it but not a reputable college.

A match starts a fire which can do damage....do you have to see a third degree burn to be convinced??

Sure Joe's barbering academy might accept you with this fake certificate and charge you $20k to get a second rate hair cutting certificate.Â* The place is not accredited by any viable body...one that will get you a good education.
And lets face it....you have to do something to get something.Â* You wanna buy your dipolma, you deserve an overpriced certificate that isnt worthy of wiping a behind.Â* Do the GED route...call your local school district.

Or you can call your local library or community center. They usually have free GED classes.

I would start with the attorney general of your state.

If that payment is to be taken automatically buy an ACH withdrawl I would go to your bank and put a stop payment on it.

Default Belford is legit

I recently made a post on belford.I was pointing out that they are a fully accredited with the higher education commission.I did the research and checked with it myself.Let me explain, belford has been in business since the early 1990's and they now have many competitors in the modern day.The web is a free media so on these diffrent forums they get slandered alot by people from other online campuses, claiming belford ripped them off which is not true.I earned my belford high school diploma about 2 years ago,and im am currently in my 2nd year in New york university. Not only that i work at the airport(Who are sure to be tight on their employees background),and i have been working here for a year and 4 months with no problems. So dont go around believing what you read and everything you hear, you have to remember the web is a free media, and a place for competition

Huh?? You must be a Belford employee....they are NOT accredited....

In the stickies at the top is the link to Wikipedia with online verifiable data. Show proof that their diplomas are good for anything other than toilet paper.

Plus I read NYU's admission criteria....you dont have a transcript when you attend Belford...just a cheap diploma. It aint an easy school to get into so I dont believe after jumping thru all the hoops of all the standardized testing, essay writing and the whatnot, anyone would be that stupid to submit a fake diploma.
Quote:
The school is not accredited by any accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE) or Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Neither of the organizations from which Belford claims accreditation, the International Accreditation Agency for Online Universities (IAAOU) and the Universal Council for Online Education Accreditation (UCOEA), are recognized accreditation associations of higher learning.[2] Without recognized accreditation, Belford's degrees and credits might not be acceptable to employers or other academic institutions, and use of degree titles may be restricted or illegal in some jurisdictions.[3] Jurisdictions that have restricted or made illegal the use of credentials from unaccredited schools include Oregon,[4] [5] Michigan,[6] Maine,[7] North Dakota,[5] New Jersey,[5] Washington,[4] [8] Nevada,[4][9] Illinois,[4] Indiana,[4] Texas[10][11] and Korea.[12] Many other states are also considering restrictions on the use of degrees from unaccredited institutions.
