Belford High school is tricky. They give accredited diplomas, certificates, and degrees based on "Life Experiences" It cost me $250 dollars and I got a diploma, transcript, verification letter for college registration, and verification letter for employment. That was in 2005 It also was valid enough that I was accepted into Kaplan University, and it also stood up to a job interview. Tha evaluation process consists of a test that tests english, reading comp, and math.

Honestly though I would recommend completing a GED exam instead. Bedford Is 100% accredited, but a GED test is much more representative of your actual education level because it's test is very comprehensive. So if you have to have a Diploma ASAP then Belford may work for you. But if $240 isn't an easily obtainable expense go for a GED instead. Those will always prove your level of education is equivalent to high school graduate level. Oh, also another option now available are online high schools. Which consist of taking classes online, and there are weekly assignments and live class time, but this is even more mostly then Belford. So Belford isn't a scam in the sense where they won't send you what you pay for, but they let you choose your GPA, graduation date, and area of expertise. So if you're looking for a school that actually teaches you, try a different online program but always look for the accreditation information to verify its validity. But Belford isn't a scam truthfully. If you do decide to get your diploma through them anyway, make sure you note your transaction number after paying, and pay with a credit card instead of debit so there is payment protection on the transaction. They only ask for payment after you've taken the evaluation exam and passed.

Whichever way you further your education, take your time in researching the Institution, and contact them by phone for questions. Online chat is much more convenient but talking to them on the phone gives you a more direct way to know if the employees know who they are working for, or if they just follow a script for responses. Good luck with all of your education and employment choices.

its a BIG SCAM!!!
all the (toll free #) are different but you are calling the same place.
also the billing company they work with (EducationSP.com) is also them.

i called 1 of the toll free number and complain to get back a full refund because its not what i paid for. On the site it states a "Accredited Diploma" i have my GED but wanted a Diploma too. lol, dont ask me why. anyways. since i paid for a Accredited Diploma and is not getting what i paid for its considered as a Fraud, and can file as a Fraud Dispute.

Anyways, i figured out all the toll free number calls the same place and the same set of "CUSTOMER REP". kept demanding for a refund and told them i paid for an accredited diploma and is not getting it, because was told it was recognize by the US ARMY. which is not.... anyways to make a long story short. i called the other toll free number and didnt have to tell my member number or my name to pull up my account. they just said "MY NAME, we are refunding you, your full 200$, and is already back in your account, you can call your bank to verify, good bye thank you!" i asked them for a confirmation #, they said NO NEED. and just hung up on me.... luckily i was smart enough on my end to record the whole phone conversation... called my bank and check to see if the funds where back in my account, guess what? IT WAS NOT!!! not a pending reverse transaction! NOTHING. i told my bank they said they was gonna reverse the payment and i needed the money now and cant wait due to paying other bills. (also played them the recorded phone conversation, also stated the agent Name, job title, and the company he worked for "belford". also him saying transaction will be dropped.) my bank said they was gonna pull the transaction and kept the recording for there records just incase, the scammers decided to question.

SO YES! I GOT ALL MY MONEY BACK.
ALL YOU GOTTA DO IS TELL THEM YOU DIDNT GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR AND IF THEY DO NOT WANT TO REFUND YOU, THEN FILE A "FRAUD DISPUTE". EVEN THOUGH YOU GAVE THEM YOUR CC INFO, AND AUTHORIZED FOR A PAYMENT FOR A "ACCREDITED DIPLOMA & RECOGNIZE DIPLOMA". WHICH YOU WILL NOT GET BECAUSE THEY ARE A FAKE SCHOOL.

more shill stupidity.first in this economy employers are gonna look at,and verify a person's background more than ever.also no accredited college or university is gonna except that.i do know somebody that didn't get hired because they fudged their resume,so your little piece of paper won't get anyone hired at a real job,or get them accepted at a real college.as to the BBB.the people have not filed complaints against you as they should.why i don't know, but it does disgust me that not only are you still around, but people are looking for the easy way out.bottom line.if people are gonna post negative get over it.you and every other diploma mill is a scam, and won't get anyone antwhere.in closing i would like to state.

shillin,shillin,shillin,keep them shills a shiilin.

Your sister got an expensive piece of toilet paper. No reputable school will accept it.
