Things are getting rough around here. I have received 3 letters from online pdls threatening legal action if I don't quit the slander and defamination of character in regards to my templetes I have let people use. I have only posted the truth about these crooked buttheads and that is putting it mildly. The online industry is running scared and with the help of this site, we have gotten the word out and what our rights are and to use the law against these places who have stolen money. I will begin posting again in the forums, but with cautious wording. The companies are very famous on the boards and 2 of them are from supposedly Miami, Oklahoma and from Ireland or wherever they are claiming to be this week.

Polly, they actually had the nerve to send them in the mail and I turned them over to our attorney. I didn't make copies, but I will contact him and see if I can get copies. Will these places ever stop?

PDL's are prohibited for the most part in PA. However, a online lender licensed in their state of incorporation is untouchable by PA law.

This is a declatory ruling by the PA Department of Banking regarding online lenders that are licensed in their state of incorporation.

This would not be applicable to a company that is not licensed anywhere.

Tammy-what a crock!! You are right, they are running scared, because consumers are getting the info! I was told by a CA that they wouldn't deal with me because it was well know around thei offices that I was "educated in debt" Laughing

I just told them it was about time. They also said they knew the website I was getting my info from!! Maybe I better be carefull using my name!!..Karen
