There is a woman in TN who has lived 57 years in an iron lung because she had polio when she was 3. She will be 60 very soon and I think it would be neat if you all would find it in your hearts to send her a birthday card. Experts believe that there are fewer than 30 people who still use iron lungs and that she is the oldest person they think who still does. I remember the iron lung. I can't even begin to imagine what it must have been like to be in there for 57 years. I like your idea about sending BD cards to her.
