Will someone please explain to me WHY are they killing Alan off? Stuart Damon has been on GH before dirt was invented

It's all about the Benjamins, honey. They'll kill him off and get another young hottie in there, meanwhile alienating loyal fans like us! They will also pay said young hunk much less money, so they can save their precious bottom line--and just throw in another mob story to boot.
The good news is that Stuart will be getting more work, largely due to fan outrage. He's going to be coming back as a ghost, so stay tuned...

I used to watch GH all the time. Especially when Luke and Laura were on. Sorry to say I dont watch it anymore but I did like "Alan"

I watched GH many moons ago, as well. My daughter has been watching it since she was 14. She never misses an episode, even if she has to tape it while she's at work. Are Luke and Laura still on?
