I agree with some older mod members here that this forum has taken a turn for the worse. Even new members are saying this as well. I hate to say this but I always feel like I'm on the defense here anymore. I'm lashing out at people who I consider my friends and family on this forum. One wrong word that I've misinterpreted and I feel like I have to pounce. To that, I say I'm sorry.

Life is too short for all this bashing and negativity. It's been going on too long around this forum. It is nothing like when I joined in 2005. We rallied around to help each other. Now people are attacking guests for no reason. I mean guests that are seeking help. I understand there were some negativity postings today. I didn't read any of them so I guess they didn't make it through. I consider this a good thing. But what happened to the days when we didn't have to do this?

People on this board have been a great source of comfort and support to me when my mom had cancer and during my struggle to find a new job. I hear people ask for prayers and I do pray for them. People have prayed for me on this board and it's worked. I'm tired of being on the defense all of the time. It seems as a moderator you are supposed to expect personal attacks now. I'm not going to stand for it. Enough is enough.

I understand that there are times that we are going to disagree. Have I pounced on others? Yes, and I feel bad about it. (in most circumstances) Some ruthless guests in my opinion deserve the attacks right back. (especially if they started it) Boy, that sounds really childish.

I don't know where I stand on things right now. There is just too much backbiting. Mad

Mishele---I haven't been attacked yet, but have felt like I was on "watch" all the time. I am hoping that the "riff-raff" will soon take a permanent leave of absence.

I too have to admit I was in the midst of the pouncing when it came to certain collectors, and let guests that posted hateful, I too had to respond. But, I agree this has gotten out of hand.

I'm sick of all the fighting and drama too. I think we can all agree that it needs to end.

I'm feeling like lately Im constantly getting bashed for things I've never said, everything I seem to post gets taken so totally wrong, and I really don't know what to do at this point. i don't want to stop posting here.

I think debate is healthy. But when people start making things personal when there is no reason for it, it takes a debate to a fight.

I came here with my only intention being to help people. I've done research about banking and pdl's for a couple years, and thought I could help. If I've been to harsh in correcting something I thought was wrong, it was only out of concern that someone's situation could be made worse without the correct info. I really strive to check and double check info regarding laws ans such before I post.

I know there are a lot of others here that know a lot about this stuff too. instead of fighting over who's right about this or that, we should work together.

This board is and should continue to be an awesome tool anyone can use to help them get out of debt.

Mishele and Tammy, you guys know I'm with you. This place helped me out of some really bad crap a year ago, and I will never forget that or the people..You guys..Who helped me.

I can't even explain what this board came to mean to me over the past 14 months. I won't sit back and let it fall apart, I can't. Somehow we have to change things.

My suggestion is maybe moderators titles are named to quickly.. it should take more then 1000 post it should be the quality of post not quantity

Ok..Here's what I say. We can't leave, or step down. We just can't. We all hate the direction the board is going in, right? Well...If we stick around and fight it out we CAN change it. We just have to be united. Think about what this board did for us, and how good it feels to give back. I consider a lot of you my personal friends, and we've fought long and hard together. Let's keep doing it.
