My cousins are out of the hospital. They both still have IV's in and have to receive medicine in them every 3 to 4 hours. Robert, who had lost 20 pounds has gained back 3 or 4 pounds. Ida didn't loose as much as he did and is doing better than he is. They both will be getting vests that will help with their PT. They are also working on getting medical releases from the college so that it doesn't look like they failed their classes. They go to a special ist in Tennessee on the 11th. But they are improving, slowly. I am really glad they are home and are doing better. Thanks to all of you that have had them in your prayers and that doesn't just come from me but from their parents also. If you don't mind keeping the prayers going for them for a little while longer, until they are totally out of the woods, I would appreciate it.
Thanks everyone!

Thanks everyone. I know we are all happy they are home. The biggest concern is with Robert hoping he doesn't have a setback. I know with Easter here this weekend, everyone is very thankful that they can spend it at home together and not in the hospital.
Actually, doesn't sound like someplace I would want to be. I was told several times the kids had gotten milk and it was not any good! Their parents went to the store themselves and was buying milk for them to drink! They did complain to the hospital staff, but guess it didn't do any good, but this was a childrens hospital, so you would think that it would keep fresh milk on site.
But if anything changes, I will let everyone know.

I can't believe that a hospital would have bad milk and not do something about it after they were notified of this! I would report them to the health department.
Anyway, I'm also glad that they're home and doing well. I hope all of you have a wonderful Easter - much to be thankful for.

2nband - its those little day to day miracles that you look forward to. I am so happy for your neice and nephew to be out of the hospital for Easter. Hospitals suck for the holidays! Take it form someone who has spent too many at the hospital with a sick child. I am a firm believer that hospitals make you sicker and kids heal much better at home.
