I have been debating whether to do this or not and I have made a decision to leave the site. I feel it is best. The topics that are being posted I feel I can't help like I have in the past. It seems my posts are overlooked or I am pm'd and told that I don't know what I am talking about. I wish everyone good luck in becoming debt free and defeating the payday loan industry.

I hope you stayed on long enough to read this. I so agree with you I have been as they say in Cyberspace lurking adding a comment every so often but it is like the kiss of death when I do. I have found that the advise given is so off base and that those who really had something to say are gone.. where is Steeler and Fin and Jedi and others.. the ones that mattered..
So I am sorry that this board has turned into this offensive place but good luck..

Tammy....I don't know you at all I don't guess....but, I just went through the very same thing. Except I didn't even get the courtesy of an PM...just made to look stupid on the board. Please I took sometime away....and then I realized that I even though I may not be a financail expert....I most definitely am an expert concerning how things really work sometimes.....and, it ain't always by the book. So I have decided to stay if only to share how I am being done by CA's and such, and,the DOE, Sallie Mae, and others. And, I know that some things poeple are expressing about what they are going through is in fact the truth.....even if it is illegal....because I am in the very same boat. So in my opinion...there's room for all of us here...the experts...which have experience in finances, and, also the ones of us that can tell it the way it really is. I don't know what's going on....but, as everyone told me....don't let it get to you. I wish the best either way you decide!

Hi Tammy, I never expected that I will be reading such a post from you. Why are you allowing someone to be your bad critic? Don't ever feel that your help means nothing because those who care for you will always like to hear from you. A few will be exceptions to prove against anyone. Think about the majority, not just a few who don't know you at all. Don't let them decide and judge your point. You are right in your own way and you have to think positive. I will ask my accounts dept to cash your points. I hope this isn't for the last time.

Poptartsmom, I am sorry that the payment didn't reach you. I am checking with the accounts dept and let you know.

Didn't you get the payment we did on 09th April? It was supposed to reach you by 13th April. Can you please verify it with your bank?

Ok, if those crap PMs in your inbox puts you on a decision about leaving everyone here, aren't these posts from us going to change your thoughts? I will be sad to see you going, Tammy. This is so sad! almost every week one of the members is afraid or being harrassed by someone who is psoting here! I have not seen many of the familiar names on lately and this really is bothering me. The members who have helped me the most are leaving or staying away and they are the ones with the most advice and the best information that I know was found out by trial and error. I know that there are ca's who lurk here and often post, but I am beginning to think that there is a wolf in sheeps' clothing posting here.Does anyone else think that maybe, with all of the registered people on this forum, that we are all starting to create a ground swell that is shutting down the operations of the pdls and the horrid collection agencies. That we are finall bringing this type of usury out in the open and more and more states are investigating preditory lending? Tammy - please don't leave - you have not gotten where you are by giving up or in and your knowlege and experience is invaluable.

I look such issues in a positive way and I wish you all think like me. Instead of thinking alone while we are in group, why not join together and throw out those who make negative comments. Those jerks come here with a purpose and they win when one of us breaks or steps back. Why not we stand together and keep them away from this place.

Tammy, please tell the name of the poster who PMd you. We will sound hard on him/her. This will be the right way to deal with such people, instead of keeping it with yourself.

Tammy, how awful to hear you want to leave the board. While I can understand how frustrated you are, I can't help remembering how much your posts have always helped me and how much I enjoyed posting with you. I agree with others that these "wolves in sheep's clothing" are trying to tear us down. Please reconsider leaving.
