ok so I am a dork...when I try to look at the avatars to add one...cuz yours are all sooo way cool, and I want one too! All I get is red x's. Or can I add my own pic and how? Guess I slept thru the "computers are your friend" class.

Moondanzer made mine for me. You can add your own pic, too. I tried to add mine but it kept saying it was too big! Hang in there and someone will stop by to help you out. All I ever got was red x's too so Moondanzer loaded mine for me.  There are some really cool avatars on here lately aren't there?

The red x's still has the avatars in it. They are coming like that by default in the gallery.
You get to see the avatars after selecting it in your profile. In case, you don't like it, look for the other one.
There's a specific size on the avatars that's allowed in the forums. If the size of your avatar is big, resize it in a Photoshop or other photo editor and upload.
