Staying home for x-mas. No relatives left out of town. Both sets of grandparents have died so no need to travel out of state any longer plus the price of gas is CRAZYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

Staying home, not sure what's for dinner. Probably the usual ham with all the trimmings. Or at least some of the trimmings. Depends on if the older two kids get jobs by then.

You beat me to the punch on this one Luke!
Glad to hear you might be able to make it home for Christmas.
My menu is still unknown as of right now.

Not sure yet, but I'm sure it will be yummy.
I'm spending the week at my TJ's house in PA...He is a terrific cook.
I will, however, be in charge of getting pies from the amish restaurant in my town. Last time I went out there, I didn't bring any pies and everyone in the house was crushed.

Well it depends on whose house we are at...my daughter says we are welcome to come there but she will not cook and says she'll order pizza. I will probably help her fix something else..maybe steaks on the grill..had that last year it was great!

Laura, we did shishkabobs last year and they were awsome. Steaks sound good....I will have to think of our menu...everyone always comes here...I know Christmas Eve will be lasagana, spaghetti and clam sauce, suffed shells and possibly manicotti. Depends on how industrious I feel....Christmas Day is my MIL's meal!!

this xmas i told my family that we are going to put some food on the grill. they thought i was crazy because the weather may be cold. i told them that we don't have to stand outside and watch the food, just leave the back door open. the grill is right outside the door on the deck. the everyone agreed that we will grill out. just the thought of more dressing and ham and all that other food made us gag.

I am looking forward to going over to my sisters house, that is where we all go. Mom has done her share for God and country. I love going to my sisters house. It is so pretty, and big yard. We all have a good time. I live so far away from my family that the time goes by so quick before I have to leave. I am looking forward to the traditional dinner and my family. Sounds like the gang here is going to have a good time seeing their family and all the great food, sounds great. Merry Christmas!

Well we will be up at the cabin again. Hubby gets a black forest ham from work and we will be having that. Don't know what else. I may cook something over the fire (if it's not snowing lol) The family will be getting together a week before Christmas because thats my daughters 18th birthday so we will do the family thing then. But it will be just hubby, the kids and me up at the cabin I am thinking I may be up there for a week there is a plant shut down for the week of Christmas so I won't have to come back home till New Years Day
