Just had to let you all know that the lawsuit against my son who is on disability has been dismissed. He hit this jerls hubcap(who was on the wrong side of the road) and he was suing us for over $300,000.00! He still has a year to file again, but HIS attorney said he doubted he would because he had a workman's comp case going on in NC, and didn't want to mess that up! Also his attorney said that his client had a "medication problem", I said to him "YA THINK"?!!! Mom got her settlement from the pharmacy that alsomst killed her, she still isn't doing well, but better. So the break I've been waiting on for about three years of crap has finally came.Whew!1..Karen

Thanks Jessi for your Support, and the others on the forum!! This really helps my son too. He became real suicidal about 6 week ago due to what happened with the wreck and his grandma almost dying, so this lets some pressure off him too!..Karen

I wish he didn't feel so guilty over what happened w/ the accident! It was totally not his fault. Sad

Karen, what a big relief for you and your son. How horrible for all of you to have had to dealt with so much at once. Just in time for the holidays, you can all have some peace. And tell your son he shouldn't feel bad. The guy was on the wrong side of the road, for Pete's sake!

Thanks Mishele and ArDen! Yes, this Christmas will be alot better. We haven't put up a tree or presents for several years because of debt. Thanks to this forum, and becoming educated in debt and debt practices, and most of all to the people of this forum, I am working my way out of debt and hopefully, by Jan. 1st, will be out of it! Thanks to Denny and all of those who make this possible!!..Karen Very Happy
