Hi everyone. I've been away for a while because I had to help with legal documents in my daughter's divorce case and help my son catalog some Yu-Gi-Oh cards for sale on Ebay ... over 600 of them. There's a twist to that and I'll share it in a minute. But first, the really great news ...

The DCC community rocks big time! I just got my first PIF letter from an outfit located in Henderson, Nevada called Emerald Marketing, LLC. After visiting DCC, I learned how to check out the company to see if it was registered to do business in my state. It wasn't. I sent them my letter and today I got the PIF. This company was harrassing me for a payoff of over $2,000 for a $300 loan. So thank you, thank you, thank you everyone.

O.K. here's the finale to the story. In the process of cataloging my son's Yu-Gi-Oh cards from when he was a kid, we found a card that is so rare that there is no known value for it. It is a very rare card ... maybe only 40 in existence. And, we can't find a value because none of the others have ever been sold. Everyone who has one is holding on to it. We haven't decided whether to sell it or not. ... stay tuned.

Congrats on the refund! Keep the PIF letter in a safe place, in case some other company contacts you after years for the same account.

Sorry to hear about your daughter's divorce. I hope she feels better.
