There have been some interesting threads relating to banks being sued that have been deleted from the forum?

What gives?

Not sure what threads you're referring to, unless they contained some sort of unauthorized advertising, or broke the rules in some way. I never saw them. But I am sure there was a good reason for it.

My guess is that the poster accidentally double or triple posted the thread. All but one of them would've gotten deleted.
