I hope everyone has a safe and Happy New Year Smile

I hope that in the new year brings us hope in becoming debt free and rid of these terrible payday loans. If it wasn't for this place I wouldn't be where I am today. I now know my rights and will never be taken again by CA calling to scare me into paying them. Since I came here last year with my 20 payday loans, I am now just dealing with a few of the bottom feeder CA's from the internet loans. We have hit a few bumps in the long road away from the payday loans, but we are getting there. I hope to be almost debt free (beside house and car payments) sometime in 2008. I just cringe when I see someone walk into a storefront lender or see the ads on T.V. But one of the best things that came out of my payday loan mess was Debt CC Smile

I thank you all for your help and words of encouragement. That is what got me to where I am today. Now when I fill out my taxes I won't ask myself, where did all this money go Embarassed

Thanks Puddle- same to you and yours!

I am like you, I came here scared and hopeless-this community gave me hope, education and the steps to get out of debt!! I paid off all my debt after almost 2 years-with the exception of the one CA I have been fighting!!

One of the best gifts is that the fear I was living with-rather the terror- from being threatened is gone!

If you are new- sitck around-it takes time and work- but it can be done and we would love to have you join our "family".

If you have been here a while--a big thank you to all of you for helping me and others find their way, and becoming friends with you!!
