I love the way UncleWulf deleted that one troll's posting over in the CA forum, replacing it with the comment "Troll spew deleted. Have a nice day" in red print. I think that definitely takes the winds out of their sails when they don't even get the pleasure of seeing their garbage in print after it's been replaced.

I'm loving it!

Yes, we have the best mods of any other forum.

Not only are they knowledgeable, but they keep the forum tidy and neat. Kudos to UncleWulf!

yes,all MODS are awesome.i have a saying i try
to live by.don't get mad report it.i have done
just that with the contact a moderator feature.
can't say for sure how many trolls posts got deleted
or edited because of that,but i like to think it
helps.

Sorry, wasn't trying to exclude the rest of the moderators, or imply none of the others were doing their jobs. I just happened to notice that one edited troll spew and thought it was worth pointing out. I think someone was doing it a while back, before I was off the board for those few weeks.

It is a darn great idea, and I really do think it goes a long way to help discourage trolls!

Humor, sarcasm, wit, or what have you. It all works, and we might as well have a grin from the trolls and such. As a moderator, when most of my problems look like spammers and trolls, then all of my tools begin to resemble sawed-off pool cues.
