Sorry administators but sdchargers has a very valid point here. Just look to the right, "Eight simple ways to earn..." doesn't seem like it may be so simple after all. I have really enjoyed getting involved with these forums but I am now starting to question their integrity. Please respond promptly so I won't feel guilty about referring my friends and family here. I also have a good friend that writes for one of the local newspapers here and was considering having her write a review about this site in the paper but I don't want to go through all of the trouble if I won't get paid the incentive that you promise for doing so.

Hey SDC!
Relax, huh? These things take a few days to complete. Ever think that admin might just be busy? And working short-handed until Mike gets back? I understand about being in a bind. But, please give it a rest, OK?

I'm gratful to recieve the payout. However.....it's frustrating,..searching for answers and I wasn't getting any replies. I don't think I was the only one getting frustrated over this.

I'm not an administrator, or anything else official on this site. Just a user, like you and thousands of others. But I'm gonna address your concerns anyway.
I wouldn't be concerned about the integrity of the site re: incentive payments. I have recieved every incentive that I was due in the time I've been here. Including a hundred bucks that I didn't even remember that I was due until Jason PM'ed me about it. As I told SDC, these things take time, and admin is working short-handed at the moment. They've always been straight up with me, if a bit harried at times.
Further, please consider what we do here. We help people, free for the asking. Yes, the incentives are nice, but they're secondary to the work we're trying to accomplish.

Perhaps not. But you were the one plastering the board with multiple threads about it. Which likely had a good bit with everybody else's concerns about it.
As I said before: While you're at it, I happen to think you owe admin a rather large, public apology.

I totally did not want to become involved in these posts, as I am new here and I don't want to step on any toes...but I just want to say, Unclewulf, you said exactly what I was feeling:
The real purpose of this forum is to help others; the real reward is finding caring individuals who dedicate their time and resources to helping others better their debt and financial situations. The points cashout system is a perk.
While I woudn't go as far as to be cruel and say "get a paper route", I also want to say one shouldn't rely solely on points on a forum to pay their bills.
I for one, have NEVER been part of any forum before where you can pretty much get paid to post. So to me, I find this to be a wonderful guesture, and I can only imagine how hard the admins around here work to keep everything running smoothly. I'm sure they get backed up sometimes and they are not purposely trying to ignore or avoid anyone.
Like I said, I really don't want to upset anyone or make anyone angry- I just feel we need to remember how hard this FORUM works for US, and not the other way around.

Thanks a bunch Unc. Once again you said what was on everyone's mind. People get busy. Admin is short handed, but eventually things get done.

I agree - no one wants to be one to dish out criticism, as we're all here to help people, but I have to say this is the first time that I've seen anyone go so absolutely ballistic about a delay in points payout.
I've had to wait over a month for a points payout more than once - and it was due to bank error or short-staffed admin for the site. Yes, it was frustrating, and yes, I had bills to pay or groceries to buy for my family that I needed that points payout for...but I made it through. (And without taking out a payday loan, believe it or not!) This site is here for one purpose - to help others. The pennies we receive for posting are icing on the cake. Counting on them for extra income is ok, but it's not wise to plan your budget around them.
I see from the points payout thread that there have been quite a few payouts lately, so it's not like no one's been getting their payouts - it's just taking a little longer than normal.
sdchargers - we really hope you won't go off half-cocked and leave the site just because there was a delay in getting your payment to you. Things happen, delays occur, but life goes on. We were here to help you when you first came here, and we hope you'll be here to help others in the future.

It's really all about pming and pming and pming admin with a valid question and never getting a response.
This is the problem, a bit more clearly, that SD had:
When she asked to cash out her points she was told okay, it should be done in a day or so. Great! So the next day, all her points are gone. But no payment. That's never happened before . . . . Usually your points don't go away until you are paid. So you ask Admin "Why are my points gone so soon?" But no one answers you. Over a week goes by, with no one ever answering your question, even though you've sent multiple pm's. You start getting frustrated, because no one is responding to you. All you want is to know what is going on. Your points are gone, and you start to wonder if something is wrong.
Really, all SD needed was to know what was going on. But no matter who or how many times she asked, she was ignored. If most of us were in the same situation we'd start getting frustrated too.

There needs to be some disclaimer somewhere that your "payment" for participation could take up to 4-6 weeks to be received.
The admin team could receive possibly 50 or more PM's a day. It's nice when they answer you quickly but I never expect it. I used to admin a huge gaming forum for an MMORPG and after 3 years I had to quit. It can be hugely stressful. I am thankful completely for that we didn't have a "payment" for posting because I would have gone nuts.
Admin people deal with everyone's crap, their own crap then they go home to where they have real lives their personal stuff to resolve. If you hadn't gotten an answer in a month then I would be concerned especially with how big this forum is.
Huge KUDOS to the Admin team. I would rather be a bill collector any day than have to be forced to play nice when you would really just rather pick someone up and shake the hell out of them.

So when you are told 2 to 3 days, you should wait until it's been a month?
I'd understand if no time limit was given, but to be told that you will be paid in 2 or 3 days, then hear nothing and get not response for weeks, makes a person worry.

GEE...I'm 'popular' today. FIRST: if I HAD to wait a month for a payment, I would be livid!! I would let as many people know as possible. Trust me!! SECOND: I post at this forum for BOTH advice and extra income. No one is 'standing in my shoes.' I've helped many people myself...I've been "thanked" several times. THIRD: EVERYONE on this forum, INCLUDING Admin, have obligations (ADMIN: replies to PMs or e-mails...'POSTERS': posting according to the guidlelines of the forum.)and responsiblities (spouse, children, etc.) AND opionions (self-explainatory). It's shameful to see how people get 'bent out of shape', when others STAND UP for themselves.

....."which likely had a good bit with everybody's concerns about it.".......HELL, yes!! SHOULDN'T they be????!!!!!! ...."you owe admin a rather large, public apology."......The ONLY person I NEEDED to apologize to was my son, for not getting him what he needed, during this 'payment issue'.
