I have paid them $285 on $225 loan. According to Illinois law my loan should be paid in full. My bank is putting stop payment on their debits. The company is B.I.G. Lmtd., which is the same as Route 66. They have called and said they are fraud investigators. The other ladies in the office have said that I am not available and have told them that if I will not talk to them they will just have to come to our place of business. Sure is a long haul from London.

The're baaaaack! My cell rang when I was out to lunch. Some guy said, "this is Wlliam how are you?"
"From?" I asked.
"William" he said.
"From where?"
"Route 66"
"thank you" I said and hung up. My phone rang again so I turned it off. I can't wait for the next moron.
Get your kicks from Route 66. Right Tweety?

I have a loan with them as of October 2006..Finally in January I closed my account and they try to debit it every week (all different amounts). They now say I owe them over $1600 for a $250 dollar loan. I have paid them nearly $650 so far. Now the Investigations dept is calling telling me that I am being invetstigated for fraud and they are going to get my wages garnished. Can they?

Now my bank is aware of them and is filing charges on conterfeit checks. She said that they are sending like 20 checks thru a day. Unbelievable!!!!!

20 checks a day? And they think a bank wouldn't look at that and think there was something suspicious going on? What idiots!!!!

Just know that they will bug you for a couple months, then they eventually give up. Just stay strong with them and it will stop . . . .

Hmmmmm, another bank problem, imagine that! Time to start stuffing our mattresses again, I tell ya. Then where would all them snobby high paid bankers be? (If anyone is a banker out there, sorry not tying to offend)

Ok, don't get me wrong, there are some pretty good banks out there, some where, but I just have not found one yet.

They have all become so commercialized any more, it used to be you could walk in and they treated you like family, these days it is all about the business. I guess they don't realize that good customer service brings in more business.

I personally like my credit union, rather than a bank. The tellers all know me by name (after only about 5 months of membership - not bad), and they are always happy to help.
