i also just found out the gfsil has caller id!!!! i thought ics did because they wouldn't answer the phone for me. then this man from gfsil just told their systems are down and he would call me back and he recited my number and called me right back, asked me to verify the account and then proceeded to tell me the systems were down and he would call me back in 5 minutes. so everyone please block your numbers!!!!

this was at the 8772802337. i would rather for them to constantly call me than to call my husband at work so i really don't care about them having my number because i will just ignore any unavailable number and they'll have to leave a message

man called and i asked him about what my husband owes and an address to send the payment by mo. he insists the same thing as ics they put the money in the account by ach and it can only be taken out by ach. i then told him that the account is frozen and the bank is investigating all transactions made by them on the account. then he proceeded to tell me that he would talk to his manager and to call him back tomorrow around the same time. i then asked him how much he owed so i could make sure i got the correct amount of the mo and he stated that he owed 345. i asked him how did he owe that much on a 200 loan when he has paid 80 and they tried to get 75 (which they don't show as returned) and the 155 (which they didn't know was being returned) and he states every pay period you pay a processing fee that decreases by 5 and i asked that if that was so why did it increase by 80 and he changed and said i could just pay 266.00 and pay it off. and i told him that is even worst because i wanted to know what the 66 was for and he said that was the processing fee. and i asked what happened to the 5.00 scenario and he stated that was cheap compared to if it went to collections because there would be a whole lot more fees. i told him to send it to collections, send it to court, and we would battle from there because what they are doing is illegal and in the end they are going to get caught and they will be shut down. tonight i am going to have a good night sleep and i'm not going to worry about paying off nothing but paydayselect because at least i can go online and see where my payment went to once it's posted.

Replied on 07-28-2006, 09:35 PM

I have the same issue as the previous person.GFSIl and ICS are the same people I know because I recognize the voice on the phones they sound like the same person. For example I applied for a loan with ICS 5 days ago now normally you will receive a response one day or two later. This took almost a week. My previous loan was with GFSIL so I think they were not going to forward any money until I pay off the complete balance with my previous loan. The question I have is???? How do you know I have a previous loan with another company, also if you do know why are they exchanging confidential information such as a loan agreement.

To me, everything sound illegal when talking about ICS and now GFSIL is also in focus. If they are having some connection, it must be in the illegal way. You must file your complaints at the AG's office about ICS and GFSIL. The authorities have to investigate on this matter soon as they are receiving many complaints each day.

anyone looking for a loan from gfsil should reconsider. I got a 200 $ loan from them in april, and was not able to pay the full loan. I have been making payments for a grand total of 455$. They are now saying that I have to pay 245$ on top of the 455$ I have already paid. That is more than double of the amount loaned. DO NOT GET A LOAN FROM THEM!!!!

auckele, ask for the latest statement of your loan account with GFSIL. You need to know if they have posted your past payments towards the debt account.

margrit , GFSIL phone number is 800-865-3704. Fax number is 877-280-2330 / 877-280-3359

Contact your bank and get the payment ID of GFSIL blocked. Doing this, the company won't be able to make further debits using different amounts. How much was the total amount of your loan? Do this if you are sure of paying them more than the legal charges. The company will call you later asking for payment. Arrange a payment plan with them after reviewing your loan statement and if you further have an unpaid balance.

I have a loan through GFSIL, I took out a loan for $200 dollars and was unable to pay the full amount the next paycheck. I have been paying them $79 every 2 weeks for months now and I want to pay them more than that so that I can get my loan balance down so I can pay it off. I had someone call me from GFSIL the other day and said if I pay $200 on my next payday my loan will be paid off, but I am a little weary. I don't know what to do.

Kelly, get something in writing before you send money to GFSIL. Since you have a loan with them, you need to have everything documented about your money posted towards the account. Be pro-active.

Sub: #30 Do not ever get a lone online
Replied on 08-15-2006, 01:16 PM

I just moved to a new city, and having some money problem, and thought one of these payday loan would help me till my payday
I went online and apply for a loan, and the next day, I got so many different loan agency calling my office offering me a loan (While I was at work)
After I finally get a chance to talk to this company gfsil, they offering me $200.00 and I agree to pay them back on my next payday, which is on coming up Friday.
He told me to call him back on Wednesday and to make sure to notify them to take the money back out for the amount of $280.00. I told him that since I'm already notify you now, why do I still have to call on Wednesday? He said not to worry about it, I put it in the system already, we will withdraw the money back out on Friday.
Friday came and gone, and the following Monday, I checked my account, they did not take the money out, I called them back.
He said I'm supposed to call them back on Wednesday and notify them to take the money out.
My reply was this is f*** up, they took $80.00 out Friday, and now I'm agree to pay them back again, I have to paid another $80.00, which the total I'm paying back is $360.00 for a 4 days and a $200.00 loan. Fine, I did it, and don't ever want to do it again.
Last night I was online checking on my checking account, I realized someone been taking money out of my account since May, is now Aug. But the money they taking out is only $30.00 here and there, I did not pay any attention to it, and in the last 4 weeks, they been taking out between $125.00 and $140,00 without me knowing
There are awful, these are people hard working money
All they are doing is taking it a little at the time, a little at the time without you knowing and see if you do anything about it, and if you don't, they taking more and more, as of now, they already taken over $500.00 in my checking account.
I hope you people happy spending the money you guys cheated on a hard working people, and I hope you choke on it when you using MY MONEY to buy food
