I am 33 years old. I recently graduated school and I am working for a temp company called Innosource. I am working for Fed Ex however Innosource for now. I make 11 dollars an hour. I need to know what I can do about the 4000 dollars racked up in two credit cards, 21000 dollars in my student loan, 3000 dollars that I owe in furniture that I bought when I was an Idiot, and some other small items. The INTREST is what is killing me. I need something positive to happen so that I can get back on my feet. I am on the verge of landing a great job. Just need some info.

Gary, combine all your bills into one monthly payment in a consolidation program. You will see interest rates slashed down to the minimum. If you have late fees or other finance charges, that can also be waived off. The payment plans will be set as per your financial situation so that you don't default further. Talk to counselor who will be making a call shortly. You will see things back in shape.

I have spoken with a lady from:
creditsolutions.com

What if anything does anyone know about this company?
I am not sure how I feel about not paying my bills for 3 months, and then this company slahes my bills in half. Then I pay a 1000 dollar fee. I think its a great fix for now. But not sure about what it is going to do to my credit that is up to date at the present time....

Gary---I think that is called debt settlement---if you want to consolidate your loans you can contact a debt consolidation company. Search the forums here and you will see lots of posts abour consolidation companies and then decide.

As far as those education loans go - consolidate them NOW! Today is your last day so get on the phone with a student loan consolidation company - edfinancial or nelnet are good ones. After today, student loan rates are going to increase by 2% or slightly more.

The rest I'd try consolidating through an unsecured debt consolidation company and TRY paying them off before settling. It will look better on your record. You can pay them off faster than you can wait for settlement to fall off.

If you are not sure about how a debt settlement program works, read the page for more information.

http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com...ettlement.html

In this program, the total amount of debt is reduced to half after negotiations have been done with your credit companies. These types of negotiations can take some time to deliver the final results. You have to open a new account where you can send the monthly payments. Once the deal is final, money will be sent towards your debt accounts. It is worth paying the fee in the program which is much lower than the total amount of interests included in the debt.
