877-382-9648 keeps calling my home number and my mother-in-law asking for my husband. Will not tell us who they are or who they represent. I advised them to remove my mother-in-law's number from their system since my husband has not lived there in 7 years. Anyone know who this is?

It's arrow financial services. I called the number and she identified the company when she answered.

Did you know arrow financial services was fined heavily late last year for illegal collections? Charges were the same done by many other illegal collectors. Unauthorized debits from the checking accounts, calling people for wrong reasons, making endless phone calls are just to name a few. This is a part of Sallie Mae. Check this thread

Call the company and ask the purpose of their call. If they are unable to give a valid reason, the calls must stop or you need to take further actions against them.

They are calling me too. Over a 1 week period they have called 8 times. We have no debts. I thought is was our old Sallie Mae account that we paid off 6 months ago. I finally called their customer service and found they said it was for a Care Credit account. We paid off our Care Credit account back in Feb. I called that company to make sure , sure enough we have a zero balance and a huge credit line. If we owed to a debt collector why would they continue to give a increases, offer us specials in our emails, and not send us one notice of being late or collection at all. They are trying to collect a debt of more than $600. We don't have any outstanding debts, let alone any debt at all.
