I just spoke with client services today and was real pleased with their attentiveness. I don't need daily access to my account, but once in a while like to get updated. Hang in there. It works. Hey, they didn't charge up my credit cards, I did! So, now it's payback time...

Thank you for the encouragement. This is like dieting, having to be disciplined and look at the big picture. More then half my income has been going to pay interest. I'm sick and tired of it already, and am finally resolved to grow up and stop blaming everyone else for my over indulgence.

I've been with M&A two years now and am nearly totally out of debt. Customer service was terrible a year ago, until finally I understand they got caught up with all the growth of clients. Now it's running smoothly for me. Just one big card left and I'm done!

Customer service has always been helpful to me. I'm glad I'm not dealing with the creditors any more. That alone is a big relief. And I know it's going to take some time, so I'm willing to invest in myself.

Isn't it funny that all of sudden we are seeing theses people talk good about mezey.i am laughing at the employees that are writing such good things about their company. #1 mezey has a big fat f rating with the better business bureau.#2 mezey switch from n.d.s. who handled their customer service has of 1/31/07. Mezey is now in charge of all operations. #3 they have been telling people since they switched that can monitor your account on line. Almost three month later and still waiting.#4 will not email or send out any account activity. #5 i settled two of four debt myself. #6 theses people are unprofessional.#7 you will be at their mercy, instead of setteling your debts as agreed, they will settle much higher.#8 my true experience is to negotiate yourself with your creditors and save the fees that you will pay out to mezey on setteling one of your debts.#9 theses people were more of a nightmare to me then the creditors.

It is amazing that there seem to be so many happy clients of Mezey. Great for them! I just got my reserve account refunded to me after 3 months of trying. It was a game to these people, I had to wait 10 days after the check was supposedly issued, call them to say I had not recieved it, they would put a stop payment on it. Then I had to call 3 days later to make sure another check was issued. Then the game started all over again. Wait 10 days then call etc....... They kept the 3,000+ as their fee. I find that completely unethical, because they did nothing they promised, they actually breeched their own contract. I hope who ever is reading these posts, and considering Mezey, please take all of the testimonials into mind! A lot of people are really mad and a few seem very happy, I guess its up in the air as to how your situation will be handled!
Good Luck

I'm grateful my friend referred me to Mezey & Associates. I can finally sleep at night! It's not easy cutting back on things, but I needed to get out from under just too much debt. It takes time, so I encourage others to hang in there. Bailing out is only going back to old bad habit patterns. Better to bite the bullet and be more disciplined, invest in yourself. God Bless

I did bite the bullet and went with Mezey and stayed in the program. Now I can tell people that they lied like a of bunch dogs to get you into the program and also promise you a rose garden. I settled two of my four debts myself. Mezey told me that I would pay out about 22,000.00 thats including their fees of 5100.00. I wound up paying 31,000.00 on 37,000.00 in debt.
I am telling you people if you are looking to get out of debt then look for someone else. Mezey and Associates has a big fat F rating in customer service. This is a company that cannot provide you with statements and also you cannot access your account on line. I do not know anyone who doesn't keep up with their money when paying into a program like this. With Mezey you are at their mercy. I think the best thing you can do is call the better business bureau. Right now, Mezey and Associates has a big Fat F rating this should tell you to stay away. I wish that I had called the BBB it would have saved me money and many sleepless nights.. BEWARE !!!!!!!!

I called Mezey and associates, and was called back by some ignorant clown from Colorado. The guy who called me back was not a lawyer, and when I asked to speak to an attorney I was told that I could not speak to an attorney...."they were too busy".

Any time a "so called law firm" tells you you cannot briefly speak to an associate level lawyer.....just to verify if it is legitimate.....it is a scam!

J Wade Mezey should continue to peddle penny stocks...lol

I'm debt free and thrilled! So, I can only encourage others to hang in there and not to listen to the few negative clients who blame everyone else for their own problems!

mezey was charging me 15% of my debt to help me,it sounded ok at the time, but when i found out that the creditors werent being contacted i started to worry i then found out of why mezez moved to ny,17 complaints with bbb in calif.,when i tried to access my account to see how this system worked i couldnt,i hired a real lawyer, who told me that these programs will not stop creditors from taking you to court,so why pay 15% for people who make money on you when you can do it yourself, whats the worsed that can happen that theywill can you to court,15%fee would pay off at least one credit card
