I, like many others at this site, went payday loan crazy. I have finally come up with the money to pay them "ALL" off! Very Happy

However, I have no contact information for one of them. I had one phone call from them, but the message was accidentally deleted and I have never heard from them again. They just keep taking their good old money out of my bank account. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone had any contact information for this company. I don't know the exact name, but on my bank statement, it shows up as 'Ambassador Collection'.......

For those of you that are having problems with Ambassador Collection. Yes they are a little shysty. You end up paying for example a 300 dollar loan can cost you $930. Please be very careful. Cause I the dumbass will not. $500 cause me almost 1500. Damn

The Ambassador collection is a scam, The are together with Nationcash.com I applied several time for a payday loan back in april I was not approver and Ambassador and Nationcash debt my account any I made a poice report which they called the abassador collection and my money was return. I had to get a new checking account and dumbass me again tried to get a payday loan and was not approved and again they debit my account for 260.00. These to company should not be in business. Once again I have to make a police report try to get my money back. I also have to close this account.

To all those above who have problems with Ambassador Collection (or any of their many AKA's or DBA's):

COMPLAIN TO YOUR STATE'S ATTORNEY GENERAL IMMEDIATELY.

This is the one person in your state's government who is in YOUR corner! Do a Google search on Michigan Attorney General - but use your state's name instead of Michigan. Every state's Attorney General has a website. There, you will be able to file a complaint against Ambassador. If enough people complain, an investigation will be opened, and if this happens in many states, eventually, we will be able to get Ambassador shut down. Hopefully, along with many other illegal PDL companies. This industry is rife with scams and unethical, illegal companies who will give you a small loan, then hound you to death to pay their outrageous interest rates. The majority of the online PDL companies do not follow your state's laws, and are not licensed in your state, therefore, they are lending illegally to you. Your state's AG website should have a link to find out if a company is licensed in your state.

Stick together, and stick with the good folks on this website! We're all fighting for the same thing - eliminating the illegal payday loan companies completely. For every legal one, there are 10 illegals out there.

On a personal note, I'd like to see the ENTIRE payday loan industry eliminated. I feel it is nothing but a trap, and too many people are falling into it and being conned into paying way more than they should have to in order to get out.

I too, was bamboozled by the scammers. Nationwide charged me 30% per $100.00 for a 300.00 loan!
This is based on how many times you get paid a month, I get paid twice a month and they ended up charging me 180% in interest a month! Also they are in Espanola, New Mexico. This is US territory. They claimed that they were exempt from US laws yet they are in the US! They tried to charge me 810.00! They are rude, uncaring and trifling and this has to stop!

Michelle - please read my post above...report this to your state's Attorney General, file a formal complaint with them. That's the first step to stopping a company that is lending/collecting illegally.

I am still waiting to hear from "Jimmie" at nationwide/ambassador. I have sent e-mails to him everydayfor the last week, since I talked to him and demanded a dv. I havesent copies of Ohio laws and I have filed a complaint with the FTC and the New Mexico Ag's Office. I am on est so it is still early in New Mexico. If I do not hear from him by 1:00 my time I will e-mail him again. They owe me about $900.00 and I won't give up!!

I was also a victim, and at christmastime no doubt. I checked my bank statement and to my surprise $90.00 debited to ambassador collection, now I know who try contact, thanks to this site. I have also fallen for the pay day loan, where does it end

well today i had 2 debits for $150 each...and the funny thing is...i never applied for a loan from them...they told me that I owed a loan to them from 2004...but it was a different checking account and I had paid all my loans from '04. You would think in the 3 years that they would have tried to contact me...strange!!! Wink

I, too have had two 150.00 debited from my account by these scammers. I have not applied for a loan with them. I am going to my bank this morning and filing a dispute. I want my money BACK! I need to pay bills, not deal with a bunch of ignorant theives too lazy to get out and do some real work! Hopefully someone will listen to me, because I know that it is pointless to try and call the compmany.
