I have placed both of these companies on alert that I will be unable to pay their fees for this week. I also informed them that I will make payment arrangements for them to pay them back. Both of them informed me that I would only to be able to make payment arrangements unless the payment is coming back. I went to Capital One and filed a Statement of ACH unauthorized debit to block them.

Do anyone know whether these two companies will be willing to work with me?

That doesn't make sense to me... why would they not make payment arrangements? You are already telling them the debit will not be going through.

Lorrie, I agree. It doesn't make any sense. I don't understand why they couldn't work anything out (another payday loan worked out with me and I paid them off as promised).

Like I said, I never had this issue with these two before. I hope I did the right thing.

Ten dollar may work with you but I am sure they will try to debit your account also so it's good that you have blocked their debit.

Cash central will tell you that they won't make payment arrangements but hold fast and insist. They will try to get you to pay it off and get another loan from them. Stick to your plan and be strong.

Please try to not use payday loans they will only get you in more trouble in the long run that the few extra dollars will be worth. They are a costly mistake that a lot of us on here have made and hopefully you can be with us to stay away from them.

My credit counselor told me that some places will only agree to payment arrangements after they receive a payment back from a closed or blocked account. It's crazy but I know some places do that.

Cash Central actually did work with me. It wasn't exactly pleasant, they wanted half of what I owed all at once, but they did work with me. Just be firm with them and let them know what you're able to do.

I have PDL's with both and have recently told them I can't pay and payment arrangements are necessary. Cash Central is more than willing to work with me and I haven't heard from $10 yet.

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of arrangements did they make with you?

Congratulations Alexanra!! That's terrific!

I also found when I was in the payday loan hell that you couldn't make arrangements until you defaulted. I always thought it was because they wanted to add as many fees as they could.

10 dollar and cash central are both Rio resources, so I would expect their responses to be pretty consistent. Rio usually isn't a very good time, but don't back down. They will grudgingly agree to your arrangements in the end.
