I just had some company call me on my job and say that i have to affidavits that are going against me on internet fraud from fsm group and some other company i didn't even let the lady finish but she was asking me did i have an atty and all. I am going through t&c who is helping me with these companies. I don't know what to do....can anyone tell me if these companies can do this or what shall i do.

You will not be arrested or will there be any affidavits against you. You will not be charged with internet fraud, check fraud or anything else. THis is becoming a everyday threat with the collection agencies and the online lenders. Also, contact T&C and let them know about the phone call and let them handle it.

Some people have expressed problems working with FSM group. Check if the company has a valid license in your state. Also, review the interests and fees set in your state and compare it with the total put by FSM. The total should not exceed more than the amount fixed by your state.

Tammy is right, all this is is threats. They are the ones that commit fraud. All the illegal interest and threats, these people never cease to amaze me. Take care and dont worry to much. KYSIDE38

Loan companies are not legally obligated to follow the cease and desist rule. Still, I will suggest you to write a letter and ask them to stop calling you. Besides, you have hired your consolidation company to take care of the matter. Tell them about this.

Use caution when dealing with United Legal. Make them validate the debt before you pay them anything.

Thanks Tammy - I am not signed in right now - but I will do just that - I thought I already settled this with them for Paychecknow - PCN - maybe they didn't get my letter - I overpaid them - and I want them to tell me why it is from $300.00 to $510.00 - now - I am dduvall - I am just not signed in right now - by the way - has anyone been sued by a storefront lender - I have one with Ace Cash Express - just wanting to know - wage garnishments and wage assignments, etc.
