I sent Payday Ok a debt validation letter because they were requesting a settlement amount and I got this letter today:

We received your recent email and are happy to have the opportunity to
respond. We are pleased that PayDay OK was able to assist you in the
past, but understand you no longer wish to do business with us.

Therefore we consider your obligation to us as paid in full.

Is that not Great now if the other 2 pdl internet companies would do the same.

I didnt finish paying it I had over paid them with intrest so they just considered it paid in full send them a letter!!

Hey so I think Payday ok and payday select are owned by the same company as the address is almost the sam and the email from them were the same????

They are sister companies..and paydayone and paydaytwo are affiliates also.

I wondered, well they didnt even put up a fight just said ok your paid in full!!
I hope the Rio resources, US Fast Cash ect dont give me too much of a problem? I havent heard from them yet??? I wonder if they are waiting till their payments get returned to them?

I dealt with Fast cash and another Rio company, loans-til-payday. I got a refund from them, and United marked me paid in full. I didn't have any sort of trouble with either of them...I never did though, neither of them ever even called me when I defaulted.

hmm Well I asked for a refund check because over the course of a 12 months on different loans I over paid by a total over $1300.00 to them for different loans I asked to have accounts marked as paid in full and to get a refund for $650.00 which is half of what I am legally entitled too. So we will see what happens.

I, too, sent a letter on Monday to PaydayOK and Payday Select. I had asked them to mark me paid in full on both loans and didn't ask for a refund. I just wanted out of them and on Payday OK have paid them $2749 on a total of $1300 loans since 2004 and on Payday select I have paid $650 on $540.00. The closed and reopened both loans on Monday saying now that I am past due (even though I was current). So, does this mean that they are going to start these loans over again and keep drawing out of my account?? I am seriously confused!!!
