You can fax them the letter everyday until they get sick of it, (not sure that they will get sick of it though) but it shows you have been contacting them. I would file a complaint against them with your state AGs office and add that to the letter, maybe that will get a response when you tell them you did that. It looks like in that post Mishele never heard from them again when she sent them her letter.

Your ability to prove the attempts to reach Cashnet500 matters.

Jess,

I haven't heard back from them yet. They have never formally applied to any e-mails, faxes, or letters that I have sent them. I have overpaid them so maybe they are being quiet. They used to fax me at work but that has been months ago. I do keep a file just for them showing the attempts that I made and also that they did receive the 2nd letter that I sent them. They refused the first one. Keep everything documented in case you need it for future reference. Smile

I too faxed them letters with no response. I asked for a refund and my account paid in full. I faxed over the laws of my state and cc'd my Attorney General and never heard a peep.

I have had no responses from Cashnet500 or USApaydayloans. I have faxed them letters since last week and no response. I sent copies of those letters to my bank as well. It stated on there that I was revoking the authorization to debit my checking account. Is that enough to stop it and if they still debit my account, what can I do then? Tomorrow is the next due date and I am worried that they can still debit the entire amount. I don't want to go online and try to extend the due date because it may look as though I am still in agreement with their terms. Any suggestions? My other 3 with Rio Resources, PaydayOK and Payday Select have all been resolved. (I am in Texas, just in case that matters!) Thanks, Melissa Very Happy

I think if you do go online and extend it, it does look like you are in agreement. If you put a stop debit on this company with your bank, that should be good enough. But if you only put a stop debit for whatever amount they usually debit, chances are they will go in and debit for several different amounts to override this. I had to fill out papers with my bank listing each pdl to put a stop payment and paid $27 fee for each one, it is good for 6 months. But a few days later I just opened a new account with a new number to play it safe.
