What if they ignore your letters?

I sent two emails to two different company's on the 27th. I have heard nothing. I know one read the letter because I got a read receipt in my email. What do I do if they continue to ignore the emails? And one more question, Rio Resources sent me a letter back that they would settle if I paid the principal back. I emailed back and said "no way". They haven't sent anything else back either. What do I do about that? I filed with the Attorney General on all of these company's last night.

Have you sent debt validation letters to them, certified through the mail alos? If not,I would cover all my bases. Alot of companies don't validate, and then pass it to someone else. When that happens,I just keep sending dv letters. If they ever take you to court, you will have a paper trail that proves you weren't ignoring anything, but trying to get it resolved.Good luck!...Karen
