Hey guys and gals -
Long story short, I wasn' able to fulfill my original deal and I came here for advice. I sent out my letter and got an offer today. Bottom line is, they just want me to pay 80 bucks, which would make the total amount I pay = the original amount borrowed. terms I can totally live with.
I still have 2 more to go, so wish me luck - but THANKS to the fine vets and n00bs who offer good info!!

You must get the deal in writing. It's like if there is no proof, it never existed. You don't want them to bite you on something sometime later. Congrats on what you have got so far!!

They sent me an "official" email/offer from their compliance department - yes I am keeping it.
That's one, I can pay them next Monday. Now, I have 3 left; the "2" in the title thread was incorrect. Anyway, I am now very hopeful.

Hell, I don't mind paying my bill, as long as it's fair. I didn't realize (obviously) how excessive these charges were.
