You said wage assignments attempted, means they haven't started taking out money from your payroll, right? Definitely inform your payroll in writing and send a revocation letter to the company. Send your letter through certified mail and return receipt requested. Is this done?

I pm'd you chagrin. Just e-mail/fax/send them a wage assignment revokation letter. Most states do not recognize this anyways. You must have a court order to garnish somebody's wages, they are hoping you don't realize this fact.

Chagrin, I would also suggest that you go to the link I pm'd you and have a live chat about the revokation, then save the chat you had with them as your evidence of revoking your wage assignment.

Thanks everyone, it's cash transfer centers and I have faxed the revocation letter 2 weeks ago. So I guess I need to still do it? I have been notified by my Payroll lady because I informed her it may happen, a week ago. I told her that they are tyring it and I revoked their permission to do so 2 weeks ago in writing - doesn't seem to be enought though. Tell you what - my landlord will evict my ass if they take my money, I won't be able to pay her

Your employere isn't allowed to give them your paycheck if you have notified the employer that you revoked this voluntary wage assignment. CTC can attempt as many times as they want, and in order to garnish a person's wages there must be a court order to do so. You will be ok. Just don't back down. Slam them continuously with the contact info I pm'd you, e-mail and fax it mutliple times a day, they will eventually stop. They are idiots, they think you don't know your rights.

See, your payroll should understand that CTC is on the wrong. If necessary, show them this forum and make them realize that they should be prepared if CTC comes looking for another person in their workplace in future. In any case, CTC should not get the money out from your account because there are many violations filed against them.

Keep at them on the live chat, annoy them. And also add that you are using this as your proof of revokation of voluntary wage assignment. tell them to give you this man's fax number. They want to play stupid, let them and keep at them until they smarten up.

Keep persuading so that they fumble in their words and you use it as your legal proof. Let them word their illegal thing. You need to sound evil and provoke them. hahahaha
