I am also looking for the "goverment agency" ? that gave RAB our accounts from CrediCure. We were doing well w/ CrediCure - everything that has happened bad for us has taken place since RAB took over our account. I want to know how they actually got it and who gave it to them.

I have filed complaints with the BBB. I had difficulty locating him - he is listed as Richard A. Brennan, Esq. In my complaint I listed him as Richard A. Brennan, Esq. DBA Law Offices of Richard A. Brennan

I have also filed complaints with the State Attorney General of Maryland and my home state.

Maryland Attorney Grievance Commission - for complaints against an attorney.

I do want to advise you to use only factual information or preface your opinions with a disclaimer that it is your opinion. After all RAB is, in my opinion, a sleezy lawyer who would be more than happy to file suit for slander or defamation of character. Of course if you are strictly factual and make sure you opinions are clearly labeled as such, then you are okay.

RAB if you are reading this - I am not going to go away.

Thanks for the information. I'm in the same boat, taken my deposit and 2 months and refuses to return the money. Now saying they can only return 1 month, full of BS. Their primary number is not working either. Here's another working number:

One thing that may help a little. Since this money is taken out of your bank account, I contacted my bank and aside from the stop payment, I alerted their Fraud division, they are investigating as well.

Yes, I too has had Richard Brennan's company take payments from my account. Not only did I not authorize him to do so... he took over for credicure, who I was dealing with before. How ever I never gave him or his company permission...at all, not over the phone, not in writing! and to top it off, my credit cards companies are not getting paid.
Its time to do something people! we have a class action lawsuit here and I have the attorney!

I decided not to go with Brennan's law office for help with consolidating my credit cards and I even told the lady from CCCA that there are too many negative things that are said about him and she told me that everyone's situation is different. Well, needless to say, I wish the lady from CCCA would quit calling me because I'm not going with Brennan's office and she just keeps on insisting that I will never get out of debt without his help. She also insists on getting my bank account # so I can get started; lady please, I've learned my lesson on that with the internet pdls. I just wonder how his office thinks they will get out of the matter when they are deducting money from people's accts. and not paying their creditors.

Mr. Brennan, I thought we were rid of the turmoil of credit going down hill, bills not being paid when I called your company (i know after 3 weeks I got through) and cancelled this agreement with you that allowed you to take money out of my account to pay the debt. (which by the way I never authorized you to do, it was CCC that I allowed to do that) the low and behold this month you took money out! 2 months after I have cancelled.

Your people are unresponsive and say Tough Luck. Well this time I have written proof and we are going to court.

Please let us know when that website is up. I am ready to jump on board with a class action suit as well. RAB was never given authorization to take money out of our accounts and continues to do so, even after we have cancelled with him. My Boyfriend and I have been going through a horror story with them and thank goodness have found a reputable foundation that is helping us. I too have filed a complaint with the BBB and also the MD Bar. Look forward to talking with you.

Is this the same CCCA that is referred on this web site? I am curious about this - it stinks to see so many here getting ripped by this guy

The recording for the law offices of richard a brennan states that they will be moving November 15th, so the address above will no longer be effective. They stated that they will be sending a letter to their clients with the new address and phone numbers, however it did state an 800 # for the new firm of 800-989-6590.

Anyone have any new information?
