I have dispted the last rond of ACH transactions, what reason do I give B of A in my letter I have to fax tomorrow? Once I close my account do I ned to send b of a revocation of ACH transactions? I have moved my direct deposit to new account.

I have the letter to go to AG office tomorrow, and all of the PDLs - didn't want to set them off too early as next payday is next week.

Once your account is closed then no acitivyt can take place thus you don't need to send out stop payment or ACH stops on each account, the account number will no longer be active. As for a reason why you closed an account, just state that harmful acitivty was taking place. good luck and welcome to the boards

I was honest with my credit union. Told them I revoked ACH authorization, they were companies operating without a license, by law I had paid back the loans and then some, and that I had followed up with compaints to the AG's office. They were very nice about it, however, I know not all banks are that understanding. Good Luck.

I also have Bank Of America, they were quite understanding, you just have to physically go to a branch and speak with the branch manager to have all ACH's prevented, or you can have one at a time prevented. Good luck Smile

Well the account is closed, new one open, DMV gave me a new DL # and I have moved direct deposit into new checking account and sent revocation of authorization for wage assignment to payoll. I disputed last round of ACH transactions and today was the day Sonic et al was supposed to debit the account. I am expecting the PDLs to be contacting me full force shortly. it was nice to have my paycheck back!
