Welcome guest, You will need to file an amended return.

Here is a link from the irs website on how to do that
http://www.irs.gov/taxtopics/tc308.html

Good luck and keep posting

Why couldn't you file your W-2s?

If you did not get a W-2 from your employer, use the IRS TeleTax system at 1-800-829-4477, topic number 154, to find out what you need to do. If you have lost your W-2 or it is incorrect, ask your employer for a new one.

Honey you can go to jail over alot of things in life. You need to file an amended return and contact the IRS. No one here can say whether you will or will not go to jail all we can do is offer you the best advice we know, good luck and keep posting

I think it would depend on how much of a return you got back. Obviously with the IRS, anything is possible, but I really doubt they would haul you off to jail. How did you complete the tax return without the W-2s to refer to as far as pay, withholdings, etc? Or, did you just forget to send some of the copies off with the return? Like Ashley said, either file an amended return and include the W-2s you didn't send with the first return, or call the IRS and explain the situation and see what they say.

Did you just screw up on the numbers, or did you completely forget to file?

You would only use one form for everything, did you just not add the second job?

I have to play devil's advocate here. I did not even file any returns for several years a while back, and I worked with the IRS on this.
I was able to settle for a nominal amount, and they were more than helpful...
They will understand and usually are appreciative when you call them and notify them of this...They aren't out to fry the little guys, just the really, really, big fish!
Give them a call...tell them you forgot, plain and simple.
