Has anyone had any dealings with these people in the last couple of weeks? I'm trying to keep tabs on them so they don't run to another state AGAIN.

As far I as know they are still on the Indian Reservation in Oklahoma. They think they are safe, but they are not. I have read in prior posts that the OK AG is on their trail along with several other states. They think they are protected, but they forget one simple rule, federal law overrules the Indian law.

They are in Washington now, it has happened to me, It sucks. Don't think I will get the $ back from the bank, & can't close the account until the _ amount accrued from these bogus charges... The loan was paid off in May...

Yes Guest, I would be very interested to find out more about them being in Washington. The FBI is investigating them and we need to inform them if they have moved.

I wouldn't know where they have ended up. They transferred my account to ACA Recovery and I am paying them each month for the next six months. So hopefully by the end of May, I will be through with them completely.

I am dealing with ACA Recovery now. PDL's are illegal in my state. I have already paid Rio the amount that I borrowed. ACA Recovery is trying to represent themselves as a law claims to be under the counsel of Norman Kalina. I even got a phone call from them stating they are for the Law office of Norman Kalina. How stupid do they think we are. I just filed a compliant with the AG of my state. I want to see tendollaraday, MTE or Rio Resources (whatever they are calling themselves this week) shut down

I think that eventually they will all move locations to stay out of the line of the police authorities...

I have just had dealing with these people. All I did was fill out an application, and now my bank account is pretty much being drained. I had no call of confirmation, no email back or anything. I've been able to recover some of my money back, but most definately not all. Anyone know what I can do?

they emailed me this MTE/tendollar payday

Quote:
All debits made from your account were in direct accordance with the terms that you agreed to by signing your loan contract, exactly the same as the first loan that you had with our company and paid off in accordance with the same terms. Your account has been marked "Paid in Full" according to those terms, as you did select to pay your loan off on 12/1/06 and the debit cleared your account.

On the Legal Disclosures page of the website, there is a very important statement that you may have overlooked, so I have copied it below, along with a copy of your signed contract as proof of your agreement to the terms that you are now disputing and proof that you were given every opportuntity to pay your loan off sooner than you did, hence accruing less finance charges than you did. The finance fees that were assessed were based on your own decision not to make the selection to pay your loan off prior to 12/1/06:

Regardless of where you may be viewing or accessing this site, you as the borrower are responsible for complying with any local statutory obligations that may exist in your state or area with respect to this transaction. The Federal laws and laws of the jurisdiction in which the Lender is located governing this consumer loan agreement may differ from the laws of the state where you reside. If you do not want to enter into a consumer loan agreement with us under our terms, then you should apply for a loan at a provider located in the state where you live.

I asked: So what is your address??

In order to provide the correct mailing address, we would first need to know what it is that you will be sending in order to ensure that it is received by the appropriate department
