I had posted before about my sucess with settling on payday loans. I had settled the other day with 500fastcash. I only owe $150 which is what remains on the principle. I saved all my emails from them and their aggreement to settle. I have to pay by money order by dec. 1st. NO Problem. I also plan on making a copy of the money order, writing a letter with the payment stating this constitutes payment in full as agreed upon etc. etc., and faxing and emailing a copy of the letter with the copy of the money order. I am just a little nervous about them coming back later and saying that I didn't pay, that they won't close the account. Maybe I am paranoid.

You will have your proof of the agreement and the receipt that you are paid in full. They are not going to come after you, they would have to sue you in your state, and being that they are not licensed to lend in your state, they won't take you to court because they would be arrested.

Valerie, when you do the money order putting the company's receiver code, the postal dept is responsible for this delivery and the company cannot deny receiving your payment. You have the receipt to prove that the money was sent to the pdl company with the printed date. Aside, all paperwork shows that everything is ok. You have nothing to worry. Go ahead.
