What is it - how do I get hold of these people? I am glad to make good on the past but what is this all about?

I can't find anything to get rid of this. Can anyone help. The strange thing is - I am glad to pay on old debts - I have a job and am trying to get married and start a life. This is a stick in my spokes that I can't get rid of. Please advise. Thanks,

Some of the other posts on here are saying that it's a Macy's Credit Card. Here is the link http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com...about6592.html

It is Macy's. They just showed up on my credit report last month. Not for negative stuff, but I had a Marshall Fields card that I paid off about 3 years ago, never used again but never actually closed.

I guess when Marshall Fields sold off to Macy's, they sold my account too, and now Macy's is actively reporting it again.

On my bureau, the contact info is:
MACYS DEPARTMENT STORES
3039 CORNWALLIS RD
DURHAM , NC 27709

But no phone #.

OK, so Macy's owns or bought Burdines stores in FLorida. However, I've never been late with payment.
What gives? A rip off ? ?
