Steelers... what state are you living in? I went to the Indiana state attorney general's office website and there really is not much I can find that would help me in my situation or enable me to make a complaint on these companies... ???

I'm in OH, but here is the link which will help you file a complaint with IN AG's office:
http://www.indianaconsumer.com/filecomplaint.asp
You will need to register as a member and you can start to earn points, but I want you to keep your points that you earn. I don't do this for the points, I'll admit it is nice to see them build up and you can cash them. But those are yours and you should keep them. But thank you for the though!

The address I have for VC Funding is:
2691 Richter Ave #120
Irvine, CA 92606

And Xpress Cash:
PO BOX 26413
Kansas City, MO 64196

But these companies are affiliated with othe companies and have been known to jump from state to state. That is what Ameriloan/Rio Resources has done in the past.

I am just very worried about this....

On the states website they say very clearly that they are not backing anyone in a legal representation and will only try to get both parties to comprimise on whatever their issue is. I am afraid that the payday companies will not care and still turn me into collections... and then i'll owe twice what I already do!!

You need to file your complaints with the AG. They need them, the more they get the better. And trust me these companies do NOT like having complaints lodged against them with an AGs office. I had loans with both companies, I way overpaid the prinicpal and legal interest fees and I filed my complaints, my AGs website says the same thing. And they notified each pdl and they settled me as paid in full. I had the same fears you did in the beginning but things worked out.

well that does make me feel better. I have talked with someone in the Indiana DFI, that is the same almost as the AG's office right? And he said they would contact the payday loan places but he wasn't very reassuring about the process either. He did say to close the account immediatly though... I am just hoping this works!!
