Does anybody have the name of a good debt cons company they have worked with? I did sign up under this site and waiting for a call. I have 2 credit cards that have now went to collections. One company does not seem to want to work with me much. Offering a payoff of over $5000. I cannot do this plan and unless I pay 10% of the bill each month (over $700) they will continue collection efforts (lots and lots of phone calls). The other company has worked with me well. Also have a $16,000 payoff left over after a repo. Also have quite a few pdl, but they are all store fronts and legal in the state. Any advice is appreciated.

You'll find some companies listed in the ranking chart. Take the free quotes from everyone and compare your options.
Do you only want to look into debt consolidation? You might take long time to complete the plan if the payments are framed lower. The principal amount needs to be paid in the program. The interest rates will be lowered down and if there are any fees attached with the debt, most of them can be waived off.
Perhaps, a debt settlement plan will be suitable in your case looking at the grand total. The debt will be resized by 40 to 60 percent.
