Pdl are against the law in NC. On Nov 9 in the
Asheville Citizen-Times about how the PDLs agreed
to pay 60,000 to Consumer credit counseling to help
those individuals in PDL trouble.

I do not have any PDL trouble though.

Ok, thanks. I have paid probally over $1000.00 more to these scumbags. I doubt I will ever get any of it back, but I will never use them again..

I am from NC. I took out pdls over the internet. I paid way more than principal on most of loans and was unable to reach some pdls to pay them off. I had to close my account in order to get them to stop the debits. Most agreed to mark loans paid in full, but I have had some problems with some. Paychecknow was really bad. I paid over 300 for a 200 loan and they wouldn't mark paid in full. I filed a complaint against AG, but haven't heard anything. Paychecknow use to email everyday, but I havent' heard anything since I stopped responding. Also Rio Resources and Cashnet were not cooperative. They too have stopped communicating since I would not pay. I don't know what they are up to.
Anyone else have experience with payday loans in NC.
I have told them that the pdls are illegal in NC. They are not licensed in NC, but they don't seem to care.
