I'm looking into the program but worry about my creditors suing me. It scares me to death to think of being late on a payment, I've worked so hard at paying them on time all these years but its been so hard to do, and nothing is coming down or changing.
Help!!

I can feel for you. Probably, you are worried because of the high interest rates and fear to default in your payments. If you take a consolidation plan, you will pay the debts at a much lower interest rate.
The counselor will analyze your financial situation and find out how much can be afforded each month. You will have lower payments in the consolidation plan from what you are paying now. I hope this counseling offers you many easy options.
