I contacted my bank and put in a dispute about this company. They are a scam company. How do I get out from under the thumb of this company? I have paid them over 700.00 on a 200.00 loan. they need to be shut down!!!!!

i paid 1770.00 on a 200 loan and they still want more money, they call my job even though i told them several times i'm on medical leave, call me 5 times in a row, they dont understand anything.

this is the worst company to deal with, i filed a report with the BBB and the AG's office and have not heard anything.
they claim they are in the UK so they do not have to go by the US laws which is wrong.

my advice will be to file a report with the AG, BBB and you already did the bank but they may go in under another name so keep n eye on your account.

don't lose hope, tell them they already got their money and that they are violating the law.

they will make threaths (baseless) but dont fall for it. read the post on here there is a lot on that company.

I have sent Route 66 emails and faxes everyday. They call me and what to know what I want. I ask them if they have read the email. They say yes. So I tell them that is what I want. I want my debt to be marked paid in full. They drive me crazy. They have told me that they don't deal with emails. I have told them to not contact me untill they can address the issues that I have sent in my email. Good Luck.

shellparks, i did they same and they told me the same they do not deal with emails...they are not intimidating me!!!!!i'm tired of telling them they ned to contact me via email. with some many people complanning you'll think something will get done there has to be way stop these idiots.

I would think so. I emailed them today and sent them a fax. They haven't called me yet. But the day is not over. Since I know they have an email address. I know they can hit reply.

Someone from there "legal" department OLA called me yesterday. We went over what I have faxed and emailed. I was very calm so I am proud of myself. I asked them to not debit my account 5 times during this call. Since he kept telling me that the call was recorded. I told him you understand that I you are not allowed to take anymore money out of my account. And if you do you are breaking the law. He hung up on me. I just laughed and called them back.

I have filed a while back with the BBB and my AG's office about Route66 Funding. I just received my response back from the BBB stating the company failed to answer them and my file will remain open so when others complain it will be on file, and if they do decide at some time to resond the response will be forwarded to me.

I have had problems with this company as well. I have closed my bank account and have tried several times to get their mailing address. The collectors are very rude and refused to give me their mailing address. They call my job back to back all day long. Luckily I have caller ID so I know that they are calling. If anyone has a mailing address for this company please give it to me.

I will be making a complaint as well. I took out a $200 dollar loan almost a year ago and they still tell me I owe them money! Confused

I have been getting charged continously by Route 66 Funding. I took out a $200.00 dollar loan and it is a year later and Route 66 is still telling me I owe money. The Bank is unable to help me in this matter since I have done business with them in the past. Is there any legal action that can be taken?
