CONGRATS! Now if we could just get Rt. 66 to do refunds...or at least get off our backs when we've paid.

Congratulations Edith. I signed my release papers and Fed Ex'ed them back yesterday. I got a $1534 refund! The cover sheet said they mail out the checks the following Friday after they get the paperwork back, so you should have it in time for Xmas. Basically its just a release of liabity, I promise not to sue your predatory ass blah blah blah. Congratulations and Merry Christmas!

Actually, no it's not. Slander is saying something untrue about a person's character. If you really get down to it, I think libel is the word you are looking for...But that doesn't apply either. Get your facts straight.
Congratulations, Edith!! Great job with that!

Guest--
What is so slander about telling someone "Congratulations?" Maybe you should look up the definition in the dictionary

This has been driving me crazy for a while now..Slander is saying something bad, libel is writing something bad. I learned that in legal studies in 9th grade. Guest, how come you don't know that? Your accusations are really wearing thin. Oh well, at least you are giving all of us members tons of amusement. Thank you for that, I love a good laugh.

Congrats, edithnarchie
This was to happen because you were fair from your side. Remember, no one will do a refund by spending from their pocket. pdls are not doing a charity. It was your money and you had the right to get it back from them.
One more thing, it really hurts when some money is returned back when you thought you could own it. This type of feeling is coming in the minds of the pdls. They didn't want to part from the money they made from you. But they are forced to do it now because of the legal issues and you being aware of your rights.
They can't do a damn but to break the unity everyone has built here and spreading the knowledge. It gets very easy for some people to do a personal attack on anyone. We won't allow them do the damage here.
It takes a lot of efforts to stand together but it takes a second to break apart.
