Is it a storefront lender or an IPDL? Do you have their address or the parent company name?
What state are you in where they gave the loan?

Legally speaking, you should get a refund after you can prove that the account is paid in excess. Few companies are easy to send the refund while many won't. In that case, you can think of hiring an attorney because this is your money and the excess amount should be returned to you.
