They are no help to me.......... i made a complaint and was assigned to Mr. Thompson. All he is going to do is try to get them to where they dont lend in my state thats all, what do i do about my loan I called him and told him but he said they can still sue me ect. its up to a judge to decide.... i donr get it i thought the department of corporations helps you!!!!

Tasha, please tell more about the loan company. How much loan have you taken and how much have you paid so far?

Have you complained about this to your local AG and the response given by the Dept. of Corporations?

i complained to department of corporations and they cant help me all they do is regulate i dont get get it i paid 360.00 in refin over and over the loan was for 300.00

Have you talked with the loan company about this? How much is the outstanding balance they say you owe? It should be within your state laws. And the loan company needs to be licensed in your state. I think your local AG should come into the picture and run an investigation.

Tasha, did you also send this company a PDL template letter? Even if the Dept. of Corporations can't help you, you might be able to take care of it yourself, like I did.

The worst thing that can happen is they will sell your account to a collection agency. They will keep it forever.

I'll repost the cease and desist press release issued by CA back in Sept. I can't remember which company you were dealing with.

They have been adding companies to the already 40 or so on the list. No ipdl is to loan in CA without a licnese. You can also get a web address and contact info.

You can pretty much use it word for word, just substitute your info. where it is requestiong:
Company Name
Your name
Bank Info
Acct. Info.
And your state's pdl laws.
