How long for people to contact me?

OK more than a week ago I wrote to Starlight and ameriloan saying I'm not paying anything else as I've more than paid you the principal. I asked for refunds. I've not heard anything back either way. What should be my next step. I also have not heard back from DMS/Xpress Cash and Apollo re money I still owe. I had told them the amount I would pay (principal - interest already paid) but haven't heard a word. It's almost impossible to phone these people so I did everything in writing as I've not much privacy at work.
Any ideas as to what I should do next? I'm amazed that DMS and Apollo haven't contacted me. CTC and GFSIL sure did. CTC is refusing any partial payments so who knows what will happen with them. No way no how can i pay them over 1000 at once Sad

Still not sleeping over all this.........it's amazing how literally sick being in debt makes you!

mskimmers---Keep pestering them...They'll respond eventually. Do you have a fax number for them? Fax them 100 times a day until they respond. You wouldn't be the first one to do that. Smile

I bought one at Walmart for about $30.

If you've got e-mail addresses for them, fill up their boxes...

And send them a letter in the mail every day..

They'll get tired of you real quick and make arrangements.

mskimmers - if you have a Staples office supply store, Kinkos office center or Office Depot nearby, most of them offer fax services. Even your local library might, for a small fee.

It's also curious to see if ameriloan and Starlight aren't calling because they know they are in the wrong! I've talked to CTC twice and believe it or not "Lisa Burton" was actually quite pleasant. Still the threats to turn it over to a collection agency but she was nice about it lol. I'm going to email everyone again and see if that helps. I don't have a home phone so can't fax from there either. I just don't want to start leaving trails at work. Yesterda gFSIL called my boss which didn't make him very happy! And was very embarassing for me
