I think you should pay your bill. Check n Go Online was there for you when you needed them and its not fair for you to neglect your obligation to pay them back. This is a payday loan afterall, $20 per month isn't fair. When you applied for a loan with them, what if they told you they'd pay it out in $20 increments to you?

Paidinfull seems to be addressing Check N' Go customers in the forum. Unfortunately, what Paidinfull deems as fair, and what many check n' go debtors are up against are two different things.

I don't think anyone is attempting to not pay them back. I think, whomever you are referring to, is trying to pay back a fair amount. But these companies make it close to impossible to do that through their complete inability to play by the rules.

I just borrowed 875.00 from Check N Go location near my house. does anyone know if it is better to deal with a Pay Day loan company online or one that has an actual location. They had many many customers, some were long time customers. they seemed satisfied doing business with them...so i guess just wanted to know what good or bad experiences have some of you experienced.

If you have to get a payday loan you should take one out that you could walk into, never an online payday because they are not licensed. But I wouldn't get one from either. But if you have to you have to.

Online is definintely worse but if you can't afford to pay them all back at once and never go back you don't do it. The problem is you are always short on payday and then have to keep taking out another loan.

Read a few of the posts on here about problems people have had with paying payday loan lenders back - both storefront and online. Really think twice before you take out a loan with either. You'll find that it would have been much easier borrowing from a friend or relative, regardless of how embarrassing that can be, or doing without, than to attempt to repay back all that these companies want. And God forbid you can't make a payment. It's a never-ending mess that you don't want to get into.

Your best bet is NO PAYDAY LOAN...EVER...AT ALL. They are a trap that will send you into a spiral of debt. If you have a loan out, and any sort of misfortune befalls you (car breaks down, family member is hospitalized or ill, lose your job, get laid off, etc.), you will be unable to pay the loan back, and you will be in a world of hurt when it comes to the fees and charges. Regardless of whether it is a storefront or an online PDL, stay away! Try to borrow from friends or family if necessary, or if you have to, get a second job - but stay away from this "quick fix" - it's truly NOT.

Payday loans have a time and place. And just like drinking beer or driving a sports car or using a credit card, they can be missued. Note the burden of misuse is on the USER here, not the provider.
If one truly has a TEMPORARY cash-flow problem, a payday loan is a great financial aid. I've used them a couple times in the past and they helped tremendously in a pinch plus were much cheaper than bouncing checks and dealing with outrageous overdraft fees. The difference between me and some others is that I use the product responsibly and how it is intended - for a short-term cash solution.
If you can't be responsible, then you shouldn't use it. Same with drinking beer or using cough syrup to fix a cold. I would never advocate that the provider be forced to not offer the product simply beucase some people are not disciplined enough to use it how it was intended.
The thing is, I decided to better my financial situation so I wouldn't need to use loans or bounce checks. And I very strategically switched jobs twice in less than 3 years to create a better opportunity for me and my family's financial situation. The burden is on me to improve my situation instead of sitting around being mad at the world for my plight in life (which is, admittedly, very easy to do.)
Bottom line: Be responsible and make smart choices. Use tools to help you take control of your financial problems, but only if you can stay in control. If not, then payday loans (as with other tools that can be misued) are probably not for you.

DC Angel, I completely understand what you are saying and your analogy. I think many people have learned their lessons from taking out too many payday loans.

I think anyone who takes out a payday loan is desperate, I know I was and it happens. But what is happening now is that we can not see light at the end of the tunnel. The interent makes it very easy for us and I was very appreciative of it and I want to pay them back the principal and a very healthly amount of interest that is fair, but I have made 4 interest payments on a 500.00 loan of 200.00 each I think they should consider that paid in full, or at least some of it paid.
