Shortly after I enrolled, I was contacted by a credit assistance company. Is this standard procedure? Are they affiliated with you?

You must have registered in this website for the free counseling. The system picks up one consolidation/settlement company from the ranking chart. They call you for the counseling and repayment plans. After taking the free quote, you have a choice whether you want to get started with their program or end there.
