Laverne - first take a deep breath and try to relax. You can't think straight when you are upset. I know just how you feel I am so ashamed too! But that won't take care of the situation will it? Now first you have to tackle your HR dept. get a copy of the laws regarding pdls in Ill. and take them to your hr dept. Explain that you beleive that you are a victim of fraud and until you get things straightend out and they have a SIGNED contract from you they are to to please hold off on the wage assignment. Also - find out what the laws are for garnishment in your state and if you need a judgement before that can happen. I am sorry I don't know where to look for these laws, but maybe someone else here does.

i talked to hr and they just act lack they are going to let them have my money without a jugement they sent a vol. wage assignment to them with a demand letter they was just going to take the money out till i called and the lady name wendy said i am just doing my job it is as if she is enjoying this whats up with that. she said she has not done it yet but will do it i get paid next friday. i sent my job a copy of the laws she does not care she just see a creditor tring to collect with a wage assingment, i sent a revocation letter and every thing, she still is going to order their request. now there are a lot of the payday loans that i owe that are now null and void and they still try to attempt to take my money and they let them, what do i do.

Ok Laverne - that buys us a little time to get you some answers and maybe a solution. Just relax (I know that is hard to do) How does Ill. handle garnishments? Do you need to have a judgement? We need to find this out.

laverne;

follow this link Illinois Attorney Generals Office:

http://www.ag.state.il.us/consumers/

*updated*

follow this link for the Illinois Division of Financial Institutions:

http://www.idfpr.com/DFI/CCD/ccd_main.asp

Contact this Agency ASAP, get the ball rolling that way. The toll free number that was posted is not turning up in any US based Telephone Directories (free lookups).

Refer your HR person to the last link. If she is still unwilling to cooperate & you did not SIGN (this is very important & why I asked you to double check your contract/agreement) a wage assignment agreement with these people; let me know.

Get a list made up for every pay day loan company you've dealt with; after that you can send each one of them a cease & desist letter. Time consuming? Yes; but much better than you being stressed out & the HR people having fun at your expense.

Helps coming, hang in there
